    • Hi Rachel, I purposely used chicken thighs for that very reason. This does cook up like a stew, so perhaps chicken breasts will be moist enough. (It’s probably a matter of personal preference.) Let me know how they turn out!

  1. I want this for dinner! Looks so perfect for a freeeezing night like tonight. Pinning! Love cinnamon in savory dishes – I grew up in Cincinnati where the best way to make chili includes a hefty dose of cinnamon.

    • Hi Jenny, I wish I could hand you some over the internet. I made this a couple of weeks ago to test the recipe. I’m making it again today and my house smells of cinnamon. You are right, it is the perfect meal for a cold night.

  2. Oh this sounds delicious! I love using cinnamon in savory dishes – even though I don’t do it as often as I’d like. My sister made a salad dressing the other day that called for cinnamon which sounds a bit strange but it was glorious 🙂
