  1. I don’t cook lamb often, so it’s interesting to find exciting recipes for it.

  2. I enjoyed learning about American lamb and how much better it is for us. Plus I always love supporting American jobs.

    • Good point! Shepard’s Pride comes comes from the highest quality lambs and their ranchers have a genuine focus on animal care-in-production, sustainable raising practices and ranch viability. It’s great to support hard working Americans keeping our food safe, antibiotic-free with no added hormones and 100% vegetarian fed.

  3. I enjoyed learning that you do not have to have lamb shipped from far away (such as Australia or New Zealand ) that you can enjoy it locally at Harris Teeter

    • Yes, it is wonderful that Cedar Spring’s Lamb is the freshest and safest available- grown in America!

    • Yes, good to keep in mind and use a slow-cooker for this cut (shoulder). Thank you, Heather.

  4. I had no idea that lamb has 5 times the amount of omega 3 than the same portion of beef.

    • This would be a great one to start with, Jessica, because it’s so easy. I put in in the slow-cooker before I went to bed and woke up to this amazing dish. Can’t get much more simple. Hope you’ll give it a try!

    • Realia, Please note that according to the USDA lamb has more omega 3s than beef and some fish, such as tilapia, but not more than fatty fish like salmon.
