Dulce de Leche Banana Split Delights

Ingredients

  • 1 box Breton Gluten Free Original crackers with Flax (4.76 oz.)
  • 1 can Dulce de Leche (13.4 oz)
  • 3 Bananas, sliced
  • 3 oz. dark chocolate (72% cocoa)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped

Instructions

1. Warm 1/3 cup cream in a saucepan over low heat until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat. Break chocolate into pieces and stir into warm cream.  Allow to  melt, about 3 minutes. Stir until smooth; let cool.

2. Meanwhile place crackers, in a single layer, on a tray or platter.

3. Spread each cracker with about 2 teaspoons dulce de leche.

4. Add a slice of banana to each cracker.

5. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.

 

6. Top with chopped peanuts. Enjoy.
